Austin County Appraisal District is accepting applications for the position of Field Appraiser.

Applications will be accepted till position is filled. Responsibilities include office and field work associated with appraisal of all property types within assigned area of the District. College degree or appraisal experience, state certification (TDLR) highly desirable. Minimum education high school diploma. Duties include data collection, inspections, measuring, analysis of market data, application of appraisal techniques, appropriate valuation approaches, significant contact and explanations with property owners and presentations at ARB hearings. Valid Texas driver’s license required.
